shnikies!

Quite often we get comments about how tall Weredesh is; since we brought her home, for her age, etc. And I keep saying (like everyday) that I'm going to get the tape measure out and measure her, although I keep forgetting. Today I finally remembered and HOLY COW has this child grown! The day we became Weredesh's parents she measured 26 inches tall. Well, today, almost a year later, she is 34 inches tall! She's grown 8 inches in the past year! Cory says we've been giving her fertilizer. :)

We've recently moved her toys into this toy box downstairs. This toy box that has been passed down two generations so far. It originally belonged to my mom and her sister when they were little girls. It was made by my grandfather, and if you can notice the 3 little holes drilled on the side, they're there because one day my grandpa found my mom in the toy box with the lid on and her sister sitting on top of it, not letting her out. So now it has air holes. :) It's a bit big for Weredesh, so she uses a step stool to get in and out of it. But at the rate she's going, she'll be bending over and getting into it in no time!
