Never Underestimate a Chick With a Power Tool.

Adoption news?  Nope.  Nada.  Our paperwork has been in Ethiopia one month.  Patiently waiting...

So, I've taken on this ambitious project of refinishing several pieces of furniture for the baby room.  And to get me started?  A new DEWALT orbital sander.  Yeah, Cory thinks it's HIS sander.  Boys are silly.  I'm sanding and painting a bookcase,  dresser, and queen bed frame.  The dresser is my original dresser from when I was a baby.  I never was able to part with it, and it has several layers of paint.  However, the sander removed it nicely.

As I was sanding I was amused at the whole scene, laughing inside.  It kinda looked like this:

Beautiful, warm sunny day.

Dust flying.

Songs coming on the ipod such as Stone Cold Crazy, Happiness is a Warm Gun, and Dirty (yep, Christina Aguilera, and yep, that would be Cory's pick..hee hee...he'll kill me for that one).
