"what time are we moving?"

This is a question I've been getting everyday since Weredesh's teacher talked with her about moving to San Diego. And yes, we are moving back to Southern CA! And it's happening WAY quicker than we planned.

We started toying with the idea of going back to So. Cal. this winter, and went back and forth as to whether or not this was the right decision for our family. All of the pluses and minuses pointed in the direction of relocating, so we hesitantly put our house on the market in May and sold our house in only 3 hours! For 10K OVER what we were asking! Turns out this couple was just waiting for a house in our neighborhood to come on the market and as soon as it did they jumped on it! So, needless to say everything was put into high gear and we've been going 100 mph ever since.

We drive out of Bend on June 18th and Weredesh doesn't really understand the implications of it all, but emphatically WANTS to move and wants to know what TIME we're going to do it! :)

We will be so sad to leave all of our friends here in Bend and two grandmas + 1 adopted grandma and "grandma," but look forward to all of our new opportunities down south: warm weather (notice how I put that first?), culture, job opportunities, an abundance of family and past friends, and freshening up our lives. :)

Cory and I have been wrecks as it's only 10 days until we leave and we STILL don't have a place to move into. We've got offers on two places and are just waiting to see if either of them pan out. If not, we've got a place to stay with Cory's Aunt Mara in Poway. So just waiting waiting waiting...

I'll try to be better about posting, but this is a hectic time.
