Day two

After a night at the Anna Wulf House, we continued our journey down the California coast through the Redwoods and onto Fort Bragg.

We took our time through the Redwoods, stopping at the drive-thru tree, driving the complete Avenue of the Giants, checking out some elk along the highway, and taking a couple of walks through the forests of big trees. GORGEOUS!

The drive once you get toward the coast is WICKED windy (that's as in turns, not wind) and started making me feel woozy after 50 miles of 10 mph curves. UGH. But still an amazingly beautiful drive. We were all happy though to finally arrive in Fort Bragg. We drove straight to our cabin, made scrambled eggs and sausage and crashed out. A fantastic travel day!

Ok, and I have to share this awesome thing. (This is one of those photos that she'll REALLY appreciate when she gets older.) Before our trip I bought this travel Potette - on the go potty on amazon.com. This thing is AWESOME. She can sit on it (anywhere) and it comes with disposable bags so that cleanup is super easy and quick. This made traveling with a potty-trained two-year old WAY easier! Love it!
