Waldo Lake is located in the Willamette National Forest up in the Cascade Mountains. It is one of the largest natural lakes in Oregon and one of the purest lakes in the world. Surely one of my favorite places on earth! Last weekend we drove out to Waldo to enjoy what might have been the last summerish weekend this year...

So, considering we woke up to THIS this morning...
We're really glad we took the time to enjoy Waldo's splendor!
But this is typical Central Oregon. Summer one week, winter the next...
CRAZY!!!
We even lost a couple of trees to this madness!
