santa!

The other night we went to the Promenade Temecula to watch the tree lighting and Santa's arrival. Weredesh has always been afraid of Santa, and kept telling us how she's NOT sitting on his lap. However, we met a little friend while waiting in line for Santa, and she wasn't scared. This broke the ice and both girls sat on Santa's lap together. Weredesh says she wants an umbrella for Christmas. How cute is that? And cheap too? :) The celebration was impressive and even though it poured ALL DAY LONG, it stopped raining right before we arrived. They went all out with fireworks, falling (fake) snow, a great band playing Christmas tunes, life-size character of Frosty the Snowman (which completely freaked Weredesh out at first), jugglers, and the arrival of SANTA! My phone died so we had to use Cory's phone to take pics. They're not of the best quality, but will do the trick. And a bonus, for all your American Idol fans, Kimberly Locke (3rd place in season 2) was there singing and Weredesh got a picture with her! Too much fun! Oh, and another thing...we didn't freeze our butts off like we're used to! ;)
