blue pants

I've been wanting to post this for awhile, but had to get the Christmas posting done before I got distracted. Three-yr-olds are notorious for exhibiting their independence in many ways, which some parents find to be far more annoying than the terrible twos. I think that Weredesh is an AWESOME three-yr-old, but she definitely has her "things."

Other than the usual "I want to do it myself," she's completely obsessed with "blue pants." Otherwise known as jeans. The first thing she wants to know in the morning is:

"Where are my blue pants?"
"Are you wearing blue pants?"
"Is daddy wearing blue pants?"
"Can I wear blue pants?"
"I want blue pants!!!"

And of course she has SO MANY cute dresses and other outfits, but the only way we can get her to wear them is if all her "blue pants" are dirty. And when they ARE all dirty, it certainly doesn't go over very well. We've had complete meltdowns over the lack of "blue pants."

Seems ridiculous, doesn't it? I wish my worries were as simple. She must get it from Cory and I though. We LOVE "blue pants" too. A rough and tumble girl she is!

I'd better go do the laundry since we've been out of "blue pants" for a couple of days now...oh, and I'd better remember to get the ones out of the cupboard that I hid so that I could get her to wear something else... :)
