A couple of weeks ago we unintentionally camped at Paulina Lake. Our destination was East Lake, but even by 2:00 on a Friday afternoon, the campground was FULL. So Weredesh and I backtracked to Paulina Lake (Cory was coming up to meet us after work) and found a BEAUTIFUL spot right on the lake (the downside about Paulina is you have to fight the mosquitoes, which is usually why we go to East Lake). Our friend Doug camped with us on Friday night, and then Weredesh's adopted grandparents, Grandma Susan and Grandpa Richard came up for the day on Saturday (you can never have too many grandparents in my opinion). The weather was GORGEOUS and Weredesh is still an AWESOME camper. We hope to get a couple more camping trips in this year, because I don't know about you, but my fondest memories are of camping as a kid...
Oh, and I have to explain the potty picture. She had to go (very bad apparently), and just took charge of herself. She went to the van, got her potty seat, and went right next to the van for all the world to see. No modesty here. (I think she was proud of everyone watching.) :)
