When children are learning to speak they come up with some of the most adorable words, and I know as a parent it's my "duty" to correct them, but there's some that you just don't want to let go of. Some examples:
purse = shoop
leash = shoop (don't know why these two are the same)
thank you = nee nee
milk = nuk
more = mo mo
poop = poot
macaroni and cheese = num nuh cheese
Gavin = caca
water = yaya
Ayla = aya
pack n' play = boo ny night
Some of these she's already starting to correct and now I have to start correcting myself as well, because I love speaking her language! It's much cuter than ours! It also took me a long time to learn these words so that I knew what she was saying. I've often wondered who was the one learning the new language here. :)
