so proud...

What a week! I went back to work this week and Weredesh's school is closed until after Labor Day. So I had to piece together this week to find places for her to be each day while I went to work. Needless to say this stressed me out just a tiny bit, being that she's only been left alone with a couple of people before. A HUGE HUGE thank you goes out to these people that pulled together to help us this week:

On Monday, my girlfriend Tia who has nannied for years came over and watched her for most of the day.

On Tuesday, she spent the morning with Chrissy and Gavin (she loves it at their house).

On Wednesday, she spent the morning at Kid's Klub at the Athletic Club, and then our friend Adele picked her up from Kid's Klub and took her to play at the pool.

On Thursday, she spent the morning at Eres's grandma's house. Eres is one of her playmates from school.

Turns out that we are sooo proud of Weredesh after this week. Each and every day she played hard, ate well, had ZERO tears, and charmed the socks off of our friends that lent a helping hand. She embraced every day and had a blast! And to think that just a few months ago not a single stranger could hold her, play with her, or even look at her for that matter. She didn't want anyone but mommy and daddy. It makes me so happy that she's now becoming such a confident independent little girl. Way to go muffin top! School starts Tuesday! Weeeeeee!!!
