Today we braved the heat (high 90's) and headed out to Redmond to the Deschutes County Fair. I've been dying to show Weredesh the farm animals she always hears about, and she had a ball. (At least when we could get her away from the stroller. She LOVES pushing the stroller herself. At one point we had to hide the stroller because that's pretty much all she wanted to do. Notice in the photos how intense she looks when she's pushing it. She puts her head down and does some serious pushing.) Once we lost the stroller, she really got into saying hello to all the animals. She said "hi dede" to each and every animal we came across. Not sure what "hi dede" means, but it was dang cute. She was a little hesitant when it came to the cows and horses though. She was taken aback by their immense size. Here's a few photos - the camera battery died about 20 mins. into our adventure though. Ugh.
