progress???

Ok, not sure if we're making any progress on the overnight feeding weaning. The first night she had nightmares all night (at least that's what I think) and was up about every 2 hrs. (Although we got through it without giving her a bottle as comfort.) The next night she woke up around 2am and Cory was able to get her back to sleep without a bottle, but then she was up for good at 5:30 (way too early). Wednesday night she was up from 3-4:30 (brutal night) and then got up for good around 6. Last night she woke up at 1:30 (we got her back to sleep), but then was up between 4 and 5 and then up at 6 for good (another brutal night). So is this progress??? Not sure. I guess we can say that she makes it through the night without a bottle, but there's been a few nights where it took a good hour to get her back to sleep, and with a bottle it would have been WAY easier. But we're sticking to our guns...at least partially. We've decided to give her a bottle in the early morning if she wakes up (like around 4), because getting up every morning at 5 or 6 is just too freakin' early. We're gonna try diluting the formula slowly in the morning to train her body not to need the calories that early in the morning. It's all a huge experiment really. We'll see what tonight brings! It's my night! UGH!
