christmas 08
Ok, I realize there are LOTS of pictures in this slideshow, but I honestly didn't have the energy to do anymore editing. This is AFTER cutting out about 50 photos! I think we were a little camera happy...what the heck, it was Weredesh's first Christmas at home with her new family!
Our day started at home with opening gifts from friends and relatives and then we headed down to Craig, Chrissy, and Gavin's (our new neighbors - YAY!) for Christmas brunch with their family. Weredesh in her snow suit and baby backpack, and us with 2 bottles of champagne. We enjoyed hanging out with their family opening gifts and eating yummy food, and then headed home to prepare for our family for Christmas dinner where I made the turkey and grandma and great grandma brought all the fixins. Again, YUM! I believe Weredesh had a fantastic day. :)

We have been reading your blog for awhile and have loved following Weredesh's homecoming! She is beautiful! Loved the christmas pictures...especially the ones where the dog is right there with her. haha. We have a golden retriever and she was the same way with our nieces and nephew on christmas.....right in there on the action Congrats on your little girl. I love her name by the way. Was that her birth name or did you pick that Ethiopian name?
