Always the highlight of our travels to Bend is hanging with the Boswells. The thing we miss most about Bend! Gavin and Weredesh are like brother and sister. And this time we all rented a house in Sunriver for some serious quality time together. With a visit from Kay Kay! Good times!!!

humboldt

After our visit with grandpa, we headed up further into Northern California into Humboldt County. Gorgeous! We didn't have a reservation anywhere, and got lucky to find the Benbow Inn tucked back in the woods off the Eel River. There was a great swimming hole to keep Ayla and Weredesh entertained for hours! A nice break from the long drive.
